Cliff’s journey began on Wall Street, inspired by his father’s guidance and his godfather, Ronald Ansin—a pioneering philanthropist who instilled in him the importance of giving back. At Steinhardt Partners, he served as a Trader and Systems Manager, developing a real-time financial performance system for Michael Steinhardt. Clifford Boro later worked as the second-in-command at Berg Partners and as an Associate Portfolio Manager with Soros Fund Management, where he contributed to global investment strategies under the guidance of George Soros. These roles grounded Cliff in financial markets and laid the foundation for his future entrepreneurial successes.

In 1996, Clifford “Cliff” Boro co-founded Infogate, a pioneering financial information delivery platform forging strategic partnerships with USA Today, CNN, and Bloomberg. Infogate’s success culminated in its acquisition by AOL Time Warner and brought Clifford significant media recognition. Following Infogate, Cliff co-founded KidZui, an innovative internet search engine designed specifically for children, which quickly earned multiple awards and the attention of Saban Brands, leading to another successful acquisition.

In 2012, Cliff co-founded Team Group and played a pivotal role in launching 6Sense. According to news reports, 6Sense is now valued at over $5 billion. Cliff served as a founding board member and was instrumental in helping to form the company.

Beyond building successful companies, Cliff has long been a champion of causes that serve the community. He currently serves as President of Congregation Beth El in La Jolla, where his leadership and impactful speeches on community, resilience, and spirituality have inspired many. As a board member of Unscripted Learning, he is actively involved in supporting innovative educational programs that use improv comedy to aid children and teens on the autism spectrum. Outside of work, Cliff finds inspiration in the arts, particularly in the works of Stephen Sondheim, Pat Conroy, and Shakespeare, which have been lifelong sources of creativity and perspective. His love for the ocean is evident in his passion for sailing—an interest he has pursued since serving as a second mate on one of the world’s largest private yachts in his twenties. His sailboat, aptly named Prince of Tides, and his golden retriever, Conroy, both reflect his love for literature and adventure.
